Saturday 9th September 2017 saw the return of the Albourne Village Show. Around 700 people attended throughout the day. The 15:00pm showers did not dampen spirits with food and drink stalls selling out of produce by the end of the day!

The Community benefits spread much wider than expected, with the Church and Clive Millers BBQ (donating to Chestnut Tree House) were overwelmed with the support they received on the day! The Patcham Silver Band played two sets, starting around 12:00pm and then followed by The Kites, Diane and Wolfie and the Stammer House Band. The day had a record 362 exhibits with the “Best in Show," The “Best Childrens Exhibit." The Dog Show, the Magician, Children's Games, Apple Pressing and Pantry were amoung the many acitivities of the day, providing plenty of entertainment for all ages. Additions to the event included the Birds of Prey, Facepainting and Glitter Painting which will be welcomed next year by the organisers.

Avtrade sponsored the event by making a donation to support any activities and shows carried out during the day. Overall the show was deemed a huge success, bringing the community closer together and turning a profit in the process!

Photographs of the day can be seen by clicking here.

Avtrade would like to thank the Albourne Social Group for organising a brilliant day and were delighted to show its continued support of the local area.
