This alliance, which dates back to 2011 and includes joint venture company AAF Spares, offers fleet operators a range of innovative cost-effective global aircraft component services solutions. Within the framework of this existing partnership, Avtrade and AFI KLM E&M extend their cooperation by expanding the Inventory Consignment agreement for parts provisioning/sale/exchange and lease for A320 Family, A340, Boeing 737, 747, 777, CRJ and Embraer fleets. Avtrade will store and trade over 7500 AFI KLM E&M owned serviceable components and consumables at its Global Headquarters, strategically positioned in the UK for all major routes by road, air and sea.
By utilising leading MRO AFI KLM E&M’s high quality standards and global supply chain and Avtrade’s renowned expertise in asset management and parts provisioning, this agreement will provide customer airlines with high quality parts at competitive pricing. Promoted globally through Avtrade’s network of regional offices in Dubai, Singapore, Moscow and China as well as through Avtrade and AFI KLM E&M’s joint venture company AAF Spares LLC based in Miami. These parts will supplement Avtrade’s multi-million dollar spares inventory and enhance support to its 3000+ customer base, including over 500 airlines. Maximising customer trading opportunities, high delivery service levels and innovative solutions, this consignment agreement offers a unique opportunity to further develop Avtrade and AFI KLM E&M’s range of aircraft component support solutions and high quality customer service to airlines around the world.
