Avtrade expands Power-by-the-Hour contracts across key regions

15 April 2016

Avtrade has continued its strong start to 2016 by increasing its Power-by-the-Hour support to Aircraft around the world. A leading provider of aircraft component solutions, Avtrade’s Power-by-the-Hour portfolio has experienced phenomenal growth. In the last three years, Avtrade has tripled its aircraft under contract. By supporting Boeing and Airbus fleets on an advance exchange basis, Avtrade is able to offer an extensive pool of rotable inventory worldwide 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

In the first quarter of 2016, Avtrade continued to expand support throughout the Asia region by signing a new component support contract with an established Thai operator; within the framework of this contract, Avtrade will provide support to the Airline’s entire fleet of B767’s. An increase in CAAC approved inventory; regional component repair services, and dedicated local account management has enabled Avtrade to offer customers in Asia an extensive range of local aircraft component support solutions.

As a world leader in tailor-made support programs, Avtrade further expanded existing contracts in Scandinavia and mainland Europe with Swedish and Spanish Operators. Under the terms and conditions of these contracts, Avtrade will provide full support to a range of Boeing 737 and 767 aircraft. These agreements are the latest inclusions to Avtrade’s growing European customer portfolio.

By offering flexible packages tailored to suit specific customer requirements, Avtrade is able to support a wide range of customers across a variety of fleet types. Avtrade has also signed a new lease contract with a leading South African airline, with whom Avtrade has an existing strong relationship. Providing support to the Airlines B737NG fleet, Inventory will be positioned at the main base of operation in Johannesburg, for their exclusive use.

The recent additions to the Power-by-the-Hour and Leasing customer portfolio demonstrate Avtrade’s continued dedication to providing unrivalled first class support to its operators worldwide.
